"State Farm customer for 20 years and haven’t once had as poor of an experience till working with this office. Had an accident in my car and needed an estimate from my insurance before the repair facility would initiate any action(already had to handle coordinating the tow myself because Statefarm dropped ball on settting up my tow and instead of being when I initiated the tow when I asked them to they instead decided to set up a tow at 5am… the next day later.. waking me up and leaving me to sort things out… because that’s normal service I guess). To make matters worse State Farm did not have an agent available to do an estimate until over TWO WEEKS later. Great so I’m out a car waiting on State Farm… think they owned it their lack of availability and cover 100% or rental… WRONG The 80% statefarm 20% rental policy is now my responsibility to pay 20% of the rental even though it’s because State Farm is inundated with claim management and could not have an agent available till then(I honestly do t care why you can’t get an estimate I should pay for your inability to do it timely) . My repair facility is currently open to fit me in as openings arise(albeit currently out a few weeks) State Farm agent Nathan Almlie wants to somehow blame them as a justification for Statefarm’s inefficiency or failure to deliver an in person estimate in a timely manner and wants me to pay 20 % rental during waiting for them to do what “should be” a readily available adjuster to estimate. I’m still a loyal State Farm customer but taking my business to a different agent which hopefully will own accountability and not scapegoat elsewhere and point fingers. Cover your inefficiency Statefarm and treat your customers like they’ve been a 20 year loyal customer not hang them out to pay rental fees while you get your things in order."
